The booking agent or talent agent represents one or more artists and finds employment for them in the form of live performances or gigs. A booking agent may book one-off performances or route entire tours for an artist. Typical responsibilities of an agent include finding performance opportunities, negotiating deals, issuing contracts, and routing tours.
