Testing the mix levels for all the inputs to the venue’s sound system and monitors prior to the performance. This gives the sound technician and the musicians an opportunity to ensure that the sound quality and levels will be good for the actual show. During a typical sound check, each musician will test their instruments individually and then the whole group may be asked to play one or two songs to test their sound together.
